Davina Semo - Jessica Silverman Gallery
Davina Semo is a sculptor whose cast bronze bells, acrylic mirrors, and patinated bronze reliefs distill a range of experiential, intellectual, and psychological currents into a material language. Her bells playfully reimagine traditional forms and are finished with different combinations of patination, texture, and decorative elements. Visitors are invited to ring the bells, which produce various tones inherent to their unique design, offering a call to attention. Polished bronze reliefs visually echo the reverberation of the bells, placing the metals in tension with emotional states.
Jessica Silverman is an ambitious, innovative, and internationally renowned contemporary art gallery building artists’ careers and supporting art buyers keen on establishing and maintaining significant collections.

Nancy White - Romer Young Gallery
Nancy White
At the heart of White’s aesthetic is the complexity of seeing, especially the elasticity of color. This new selection of paintings explores the relationship between complementary colors, a marked shift away from her almost monochromatic paintings of the past. Yellows sit against pale lavenders; reds pop up against soft greens and teal blues butt up to orangish hues. White plays with the contrast between light and dark, a vibrant tension that allows discrete areas to glow with intense color. Her colorscapes practice a kind of formal restraint, one that quietly flirts with the viewer's perception as to whether they are seeing a world at dusk or dawn.ROMER YOUNG GALLERY is a contemporary gallery focused on innovative, challenging, and ambitious work. The gallery represents emerging and mid-career, national and international artists working in areas of visual, conceptual, installation and performance art.
